How to start?
- Sign up.
- Verify your identity using one of two following options:
- Automatic verification - verify your identity using Smart-ID, Mobile-ID, ID Card or ZealiD.
This method takes no longer than few minutes. - Manual verification - verify your identity using Driving license, ID card or a Passport.
You have to upload several pictures of the document: front side, back side and a selfie with the document in you hand. This method takes little longer since Rentif staff has to proceed these documents manually. We will send you a notification whenever the verification process has been successful or not.
- Click Post listing in the top right menu, choose a category and fill in the initial information.
- Proceed to the next step and fill out more details about the rental, its location, availability, prices and photos.
- Submit the listing for verification.
- Once the listing has been approved by Rentif staff, it will be made public and available for rent.
- As soon as someone wants to rent your product, you will be notified on the Rentif portal and by email.
- You can accept, decline and cancel bookings under Incoming Bookings in the booking detailed view.
- When the renter pays for the booking, a notification will be sent to your email. You can contact the renter through the Rentif messenger.
- After the payment, the renter will be able to see the rental location and download the rental agreement.
- Meet the renter at the rental location and hand over the rental. We encourage you to use a rental agreement to ensure the safety of both parties. We also recommend taking a video or photo of the item before and after the rental.
- Find a suitable product, select the rental period and click the Rent now button.
- The request confirmation page will then be displayed, where you can double-check the dates, additional options and the cost of the rental.
If everything checks out, send a request for the booking.
- In case the listing is Regular booking, the owner's confirmation must be awaited before the payment can be made. Whenever the owner accepts or denies your request you will be sent a notification to your email address. You will need to pay in your earliest convenience once the owner confirms your booking request.
- In case the listing is Instant booking you do not have to wait for the owner’s approval. You will be redirected to the payment right away.
- After the payment, you will be able to see the rental location and download the rental agreement. You can contact the owner through the Rentif messenger.
- Meet the owner at the rental location and pick-up the rental. We encourage you to use a rental agreement to ensure the safety of both parties. We also recommend taking a video or photo of the item before and after the rental.
- Return your rental in the same condition and state in which you received it. Don’t forget to leave the owner feedback.
- The terms of cancellation are determined by the owner of the product. Be sure to read the cancellation terms before the booking.
- Cancellation options
- Cancellation anytime.
- Cancellation is not possible.
- Can be canceled up to 24 hours before the start of the rental period.
- Can be canceled up to 3 days before the start of the rental period.
- Can be canceled up to 1 week before the start of the rental period.
- Renter cancellation terms
- In case of cancellation of an unpaid booking, the obligation to pay a service fee does not apply.
- In case the renter cancels the paid booking during the free cancellation time, the money will be refunded to the renter.
- In case the renter cancels the paid booking after the free cancellation time, the renter will not be refunded.
- Owner cancellation terms

The owner of the product has the right to cancel unpaid booking within a freely chosen period of time.
In case of cancellation of an unpaid booking, the obligation to pay a service fee does not apply. - The owner undertakes to return the entire rental amount of the booking and to pay a 13% service fee to the Rentif platform if the booking fails due to his actions or omissions. For example, the product is not usable at the time of the rental or the owner does not hand over the product to the renter.

Payment and prices

We accept Swedbank, SEB, Luminor, LHV, Coop, Pocopay, Liisi ID and credit cards. You can also pay with your Account balance.
No hidden fees, you only pay for what the owner charges for the rental.
The rental price is calculated based on the prices set by the owner.
Rentif rental platform charges a 13% service fee for each rental.
The service fee is already included in the rental price.
Service fee helps us keep the platform operational and ensure sustainable development.
After the payment, you can download the invoice on the website. We will also send you the invoice by email.
Joining Rentif
Registration process is completely free. You can register by clicking here.
To start using the Rentif platform you need to register and proceed through the User verification process.
Users of the Rentif platform who wish to rent or rent out must first be verified using an automatic or manual verification process.
It is also necessary to prove the existence of a driver's license when renting under the Transport category.

User wallets
Account Balance consists of rental income and deposits to the account. It can also be used to receive refunds and compensation.
Pending Balance consists of money which has been paid for the upcoming rentals. The money will be transferred to Account balance once the rental has been successfully finished.
Granted Balance consists of deposits given to the user on behalf of the Rentif platform. It can only be used to pay rent.
Booking types
In case the listing is Instant booking you do not have to wait for the owner’s approval.

Payments
Every Monday, the user's Account balance is transferred to the user's bank account.
The website usage will be restricted as long as you do not pay the debt. We will remind you to top up your Account balance by email.
You can pay the debt by adding funds to your Account balance.
